Those are going to be about the same price at a dealer. So count on spending ~$300 at a dealer.

Contact Sparks (www.trdsparks.com). I bought mine from them... I think they were less than $300. They have them listed on their site, but no price. Maybe they're out of stock... but it would be worth calling them to find out.

Thanks for the help everyone!
Just got off the phone with MagAuto Toyota who is the ebay seller for these lights and they are out of stock.
According to them Toyota stopped production because they were not sealed properly and caused some to short out.
Anybody have any ideas on where to get different ones?

Yeah, I've heard of them failing, too... I hope mine last a while. I'm glad I kept the original tail lights, though. They might come in handy!

Ummm.... Toyota doesn't control production on those...

TYC does...

And TYC still makes them...

Order from TYC directly if you can. If you have any problem with the lights they are covered under their warranty.

TYC doesn't list them on their site. It appears that TYC is (was?) making them as an OEM part for Toyota. The good thing is that Toyota/Scion is covering them under the standard warranty.

Dang... I guess I've been lucky so far... 7 months and they still work!

This is the only pic I have where the lights are actually turned on...

I had a set. Left side failed after a few months. Attempts to repair it resulted in a melted unit. The sealing and components inside are second class and poorly constructed.

Anyone have a left side they want to sell?

It wasnt the same side that stopped working for you. Its the other side. The one you got replaced still works.

Im still waiting on the dealer to get me my new ones.

Any idea where they are leaking? Around the lens? If so, I might try to seal mine a little better before I have any problems. I've had mine on for 7 months now and they're still working, but I want them to last a long time if possible.

Just found out that Toyota has a hold on selling these TYCs. They know of the issue and are working on a fix but no ETA on when they will be ready. I will be without them for a while I spose.

Yeah but at least when version 2 of these finally is available I will have a brand new set covered under warranty.

It's the bulbs that slowly start to fail. And they fail from condensation that builds up inside, at the LED circuit board. Looking at the board, the etchings are ____ poor. Even the phenolic is crap. Your best best to keeping them working is to box them up and store them, and install them on sunny, dry days. It's not like it takes forever to swap them. ;)
