Is anyone going to make projectors for the xD? I know Lightwerkz and a few others will customize your original housing, but its not just expensive its an inconvenience to go without lights while you wait for the work.

I figure if I can get a cheap set to cover me while I send out the originals, that might work. But I cant find anything out there. Anyone know of a company that is going to release a set anytime soon?

 

I believe that, unless PW:JDM changes this, the answer is a big fat no...

It goes back to the need for demand, and there is no demand...

 

Gotta make your own. They never produced projectors for the xA, either.

 

even if there was projectors made for the Xd, im 99% sure they would be FuGLy!

just get a retrofit done! and acctually improve your cars lighting!

I have a brand new headlight you can have for $100 OBO... I got laid off and cannot afford to continue with my planned retrofit.

 

My guy says he can install them either the 23rd or the 27th. So I'll have pics up after one of those dates.

My retro is done, just haven't had the chance to take pictures since I don't own a good camera.

 

Forgot to mention...I have my OEM set sitting around. Perfect condition if anyone needs it.

post the pics please!!!! I really wanted projectors too but since no one's making it, the retrofit idea came into my head but iono how to do it hahah and it seems time consuming :[

 

lol I tried taking pics today. But unfortunately since I'm a noob at photography the glare of the headlight housing's lens kept ruining the pictures. Any advice on how to take better pictures when there is a lens/glare involved?

ahaha well here's another teaser...Since I HATE chrome and silver, I went for a full flat black casing and shroud. Shrouds were the Gatling shroud from www.theretrofitsource.com:



And projectors are the FX-R bi-xenon projectors from the same site. Not that the projector matters in the actual appearance, but it shows in the beam - I seriously light up 3 lanes on each side of me when driving.
