About time for new blades for my wife's XD. Normally I buy the OEM refill blade, but they really don't seem to last that long. We in the Pacific Northwest, so we get some rain and no extreme heat to bake the life out of them.

Looking at the silicone blade option. Has anyone here tried the Silicone blades from either Piaa or Silblade? What about the Beam style wiper blades out there, ho do they preform on the XD windscreen?

I know beam type blades can leave a "streak" in the middle sometimes, from not enough arm pressure to hold it down firmly.

This is a bit off topic but somewhat related, I use rainX to help with the use of windshield wipers. Honestly I haven't tried those windshield wipers, but I do have to say finding the passenger wiper is rather annoying, locally I mean.
