Default Acceleration issue. 2012 Scion xD

Car won't accelerate bogs down. like it's not getting gas. I try to accelerate bogs down.
I let up on pedal, push again, gains a little speed. I don't even want to take up on the highway.

Probably since I bought it Certified pre-owned from local Toyota dealership. The xD had roughly 43k on it and it now has 52k. I've changed plugs on a Ford how fun is it to change out plugs on an xD??

It not that bad pretty easy if you don't have strut bar lol.
Also sea foaming might help too.

Thanks, still having to sometimes hold the gas pedal to floor or close to stay at 40 or 45 mph weird.

I'd bet you have a clogged fuel filter. Do you have any codes? If the fuel pump was bad, you'd have a code, but a clogged filter probably wouldn't. I'm not sure if the xD has a filter at the tank pump or not, but that's the first place I'd check.
I certainly wouldn't drive it for several months in that condition!

No Codes. And I think the Xd has the Flite inside the Gas tank. Unlike the older ford that I had its filter was on the outside. I got the xD Certified Preowned going to check the warranty. Trying to find a DIY guide or vid.

DIY guides for xD's don't exist. Get one for a Yaris of the same year; they're about 95% identical.
