Default Axxtion Short Throw Shifter

Hey guys just giving a short review of my new short shifter... so i had the trd product which was nice but still didnt feel sporty enough for me so i got in contact with axxtion. they produce almost an exact replica of the trd model but instead of the trd 30% reduction in throw it actually gives a 54% reduction... makes it a whole lotta fun to drive... Steve at Axxtion actually designed and produces the trd model for TRD... best part about this whole thing is that 1. Is completely reversable for warranty issues 2. its 70$ shipped compaired to the TRD model which is 130 plus shipping....

The TRD also includes a realignment bracket... does this one? Not really Apples to Apples on the price if not.

yes as stated Axxtion produces them for TRD as an outside contracter so Steve produces them and sells them to TRD and they repackage them and sell them for more

Anyone know where the one from TRD can be ordered? I've never seen it anywhere (Sparks, McGeorge, etc.), only the shifter itself.

I had a NST in-Cabin Short throw kit and a engine compartment kit installed in my "D". The Engine side was a 20% one so I thought I'd try the 30% jobbie that Stephen sells (AXXION). What a Difference!!! now my shift patern is like 1 inch from neutral to any gear. it's now faster to shift the gear than do the clutch. I poke it on the roads and it sounds like a high perf automatic tranny. COOL MAN! it engages so damm quick. I never thought that would have made such a BIG DIFFERENCE. Stephen is a genius! the shift is so fast, that the engine has not even moved from the torqued position before the next gear is engaged. fels like I'm on the quarter mile strip ALL DAY LONG..... AHHHHH what BLISS.....
P.S. Don't get me wrong, now.. the shift is not as easy as a longer throw would be due to the loss of a mechanical advantage, but the shortness of the throw is what I want. It's not like you're shifting an 18 wheeler's box, so just remember, there is a little more drag on the shifter, but MUCH MUCH quicker. The retaining Clips are the best I've seen yet. 10 Min Install!
