Default K & N Drop-in filter doesn't fit?

Hey all -

I just picked up a K & N dropin (allegedly drop-in) filter (had to order it through an auto-parts place, but it came in), and I tried to put it in... and it didn't fit. Too big, wrong shape, etc...

Has anyone else used the filter? Am I missing something? Eeek.

Thanks

What's the part number on your filter? The K&N site says 33-2360 for the xD.

You must have gotten the wrong stock number. I bought the 33-2360 and it fits perfectly. My problem was that PepBoys had it the xD under 33-2355 which was actually for a RAV4!

Ah, I think I turned out to have that same problem. Pep Boys straightened it out, though - all is well!
