Default Takeda CAI ...Any Opinions?

Saw this for sale on eBay the other nite and thought it looked like a quality part.

Company seems to have done their HW.
They have Dyno charts posted for their xD product as well as a video of the xD being dyno tested.
Seems expensive, but looks like a quality part.
Any Thoughts?

BTW I did a search and found only 4 topics that mention Takeda on ALL of scionlife, and no topics whatsoever mentioning the Takeda product in ANY xD forums. Thought i'd open up the discussion.

Seeing as how much buzz there is around the Fujita product another option/competition (albeit a pricey one $290+) is never a bad thing IMO.

^Good to know! I think I'd like to go this route when i have the means. Somethin a bit diff than the Fujita crowd.

I'd be happy with the 5HP gain they promise for the D, but DAANNG, those gains for the tC are sick! What Takeda equip do you currently run?

Looks nice... I'd love to be able to test one for a week or so before buying it to make sure it didn't hurt my fuel economy. Yeah, I'm a MPG dork. The way I look at it, if I get +1 MPG with the Taketa intake, it'll pay for itself in 160,000 miles! lol!

I'd like to combine an intake like this one with opening up the axle-back portion of the exhaust. I'd probably go custom for that so I know it doesn't interfere with my receiver hitch.

^I agree, I'm hoping the MPG maintains or improves. I think it should. I want to go the custom axleback route too.

HECKZ WHERE THE PICS BRO??

So do you think this will be better than the intake that is coming from Injen? The Injen one is supposed to come around June 5th. It's stated at 8hp and 9 lbs of torque. I would like to see if the Injen has as broad of a power band.

Hey guy, go to their home page and look in the bottom left corner! Part number sp2104. Don't click anything. It's below the corolla. http://www.injen.com/
