I am taking a HKS or magnaflow and cutting the flange off of an xB or yaris and fabricating my own......

BTW TRD is cool cant wait to see does it resemble the xB in any way...

That was pure luck on eBay. One of the dealer parts people listed it without reserve and it only got bid up to about $202. I caught it with 20 seconds left on the auction - barely had time to log in and post my bid. They had $30 listed for shipping. Definitely not something that would happen a lot.

There is a high probability that I'll pass my luck on to someone else. It's been the case with pretty much every exhaust I ever bought - play with it for a bit, get annoyed, sell for what I paid for it. Speaking of - there is an xD TRD quickshifter in the PP Classifieds right now for $100 that I am letting go

what are the gain......I remember the gen one xB people were saying like 2 hp but since it looks VERY restrictive my guess would by 2-5hp

 

If there are any gains at all they won't be noticeable. It's mostly for the sound. Sounds great.

 

Exhaust on most cars is an "audio/styling" mod.

I think I liked the "inside" sound, didn't really feel the "outside" clip. We'll see tomorrow when I install mine. Hopefully I'll have time to make a couple of sound clips with a different camera - we'll see if it makes a difference in perception.
