ennybody here familiar with the aem fic?
I post on this forum couse they are meny scion with forced induction
I have installed a aem fic on my corolla dual vvti 1zrfe (2zrfe),
every single wire are correct connected. but when the fic is cinnected and controling the sensors i get 2 codes, I can just turn ignition on and the cel lights up without starting the engine
p0343 = camshaft position sensor "a" circuit high input (bank 1 or sigle sensor)
p0368 = camshaft position sensor "b" circuit high input (bank 1)
when diconecting the fic and starting the engine with the bypass harness the codes are gone.
the trouble code chart says it could be a open ore short circuit, but it isnt that because if there is a open ore short it should be codes even with the bypass. Im shore its something with the fic becaouse its only running with the fic.
maybe grounded wrong ore something

There are no xD's that I know of that are currently running a AEM FIC...I think a few have tried but were unable to crack the code...If we were able to, there would be several of us already boosted...The only boosted xD's I know of were running low boost on stock fuel management and they have not posted in a LONG time which could mean they ran into problems?

I figured out my problem.
was very easy, as i used the wiring diagram i used wrong wire. I was using the +5v referance and not the signal. after i massured direcly on the cam sensor I figured out.
now the aem fic works fin. im getting the car tuned on mondey. hope it will work, and gain som hp

I talked to the tuner today. and got not som very good news. This is hes first time tuning a aem so im thankfull that he took his time for me. not so many know about aem fic in this contry.
but here is what he told me. tha car got 160 hp at the engine. he tild me he maasured 99hp at the wheels origianly. and the car is suposed to have 124 hp from fabric. 124 ingen or wheels dont know, but im guess is the engine hp.
so i got a gain for 30 hp. that is not so much I was hoping to get closer to 200 hp.
he told me that I have to get an intercooler and move the air filter so it gets cold air and not the worm engine air. only with the air filter I loos 10 hp he told me. so maybe I will get close to 180 with an intercooler and som realy cold air.
and another priblem was that the FIC do not advance the ignition it only retards it. so with more posibility to advance sim ignition i could get even more power, he said that was wery important to gain power.
that is the minus with the fic no ingition advance
but im happy with the gain for now. im gonna install a intercooler. and I also driven the biggest pulley so to get more psi i can change it, but fir now its good.
he sayed the sc gives 21 psia and in bar it is about 0.5 bar. can that be correct? i was supposed to get under 10 psi. I have to figure it out. i think i read something about you have to take 14,7 for atmosferic air from what the gauge is showing. so maybe 21-14,,7= 6,3 for me that sounds more correct to have 6,3 psi. if that is correct im happy with the gaine. because with the biggest pully the sc should 50 hp gain as rotrex says. so Im maiby loosing about 20 hp without cold air and better ignition

picked up my car today.
the engine made som changes so the tuner had to do it all over again. and now he got 150hp to the wheels.
from 99 - 150 is 50 hp gain and thats good. so at the engine is about 180 hp without intercooler at 7 psi. im very happy.
the car is a lot funnier to drive. better responce and a lot quicker. yes me like
