Default ***Updated 01/16***New Stereo & Sub System Inst w/PICS***Added Headrest Monitors***

First I want to thank Randode for helping me put my new DVD head unit in...Install was pretty straight forward and the deck for the money can't be beat...Love the fact that the face is detachable...I bought the JVC KW AVX810 for $375.00 shipped...That included all the necessary adapters and harnesses for the xD...Got it from Sonicelectronix.com...

Secondly, I want to thank Jeremy from NoLimitzInd for building me a clean, sweet sounding sub enclosure...Jeremy had only a few days (working only at nights after his primary job) to get the job done before a show here in Az...Jeremy went with all Rockford Fosgate components and it turned out awesome...I have ordered some metal RF grill covers for the subs that will get some orange highlights to make the system pop out a little bit...May add a monitor down the road but up in the air on that one...Here are some pics that I was able to take of the system...

What amps are using? I just put a RF T400.4 under my front seat powering 2 JL 6.5s and 2 JL 8s. I love it, just need to build a new box for the subs.

I'm using the RF P300-1 and RF P400-4 amps...The subs are only 10's but they hit hard and sound great...

Very nice! I know those 10s sound good, my 8s rock it out for me.

Thanks Tim.. Yeah it turned out nice. Very simple but clean. Helps highlight the car. Very simple but very clean. Dont want to make the stereo over power the car with flash. Want them both to compliment each other.

Couple questions:

1. Are these a shallow series sub or a full depth sub?
2. I'm going to assume based on how close in the subs are that you removed the full size spare from the car. Are you running with no spare now? AAA? or just riding with no spare?
3. Box looks sealed or are there ports somewhere that are hidden that I might be missing?

I'm just curious because i have a couple incomplete CAD drawings on my work desktop of a similar design that i was working on for the Slim Series 8" or 10" pioneer/RE subs that would maintain proper airspace , and keep the spare intact.

Never got around to completing them because i got a really good deal on a Blaupunkt VW1000 and decided to run that instead.

The deck install itself was fairly simple...The subs, amps, and speaker upgrade I had nothing to do with so I have no clue...As far as having your factory bluetooth and auto-mute and I have no idea, sorry...

Google the model number of my deck, its JVC KW-AVX810...I'm still learning all the features on this thing

the amp install is as simple as your experience makes it, the only "hard" part is getting power into the cab from the battery, and hiding your cables. other than that its pretty simple to set up. thats the only thing you might want help with if you are new to it, either from a friend or professional

Head units are cake as well, requires following simple instructions and knowledge of splicing or crimping hardware and tools.

Factory bluetooth will not work, but whatever radio you install will likely have its own bluetooth adapter, and the head unit should auto mute itself with the bluetooth module.

This is pretty spot on and I would just add that you make sure you take your time. Don't take a single shortcut no matter how insignificant it seems. Double check everything before you make a cut or splice. It doesn't have to be finished all at once, take breaks or even space it out over a couple days.

Well I finally got around to taking some pics of the updated system today while at Jeremy's (NoLimitzInd) grand opening event...I wanted to add some color to the back speaker area so I had Just1n of Precision Werks paint the outer portion of the metal speaker grills Hot Lava just to give it some accent...Thanks Just1n...

For Christmas my lovely wife surprised my with (2) 7" headrest monitors so I recently went to Randy's (Randode's) house and had him install them...He did the flush mount install which I like because it hides the bucket that the TV's sit in...Randy is the master when it comes to installing these things...

I still want to get some blue cathode lighting in the rear (under the amps) to give some more light...

Well here's the pics from today, let me know what you think...
