Hey there...

New here, and new to our '09 XD... so far so good..!!..

Does anyone else dislike the LOUD beep every time you push a button..??.. either on the touch screen, on the radio knod, or even on the steering wheel controls...

Ugh it gets annoying...

any ideas..??..

I'm right there with this guy. This beep is annoying as hell. Anybody know how to turn it off. I didn't see an option under settings.

 

pull up your emergency brake, go to systems settings and turn down the volume. it won't go completely off, but it will be so soft you won't hear it during normal operations.

 

I would also download and print the manual from the cd...all 200 pages. there is a wealth of information there. the service manager told me it's one of the most complicated systems out there.

We just picked up a release 2.0 this past week and I am already perplexed by the 7010bt nav system.

I can't do anything, like add a blue tooth phone or upgrade the firmware on the nav system. All those buttons are greyed out and nothing in the manaual nor do I see any references on-line to the issue. Anyone know what's wrong. I fixed the beep problem after reading this, but don't know how to update.

Gotta be in park, with the e-brake on... it's interlinked... so you don't crash while driving...
