I bought a fog light kit for my xD and I would like it to turn on with the parking lights instead of the low beam headlights. The instruction specifies connecting a purple wire to a lowbeam (green) wire. I tried wiring it to the yellow side marker lights but this didn't work because the fog lights did not turn on with the parking lights. Any help is greatly appreciated.
