Amp & Sub Install, 2010 xD, Pics and comments
What I have here is, . . my Amp & sub install from the last 2 weekends. After doing some major reasearch on which amp, $ $ $, size, power vs. Sub-woofer or woofer, box type, size, etc, etc,
I decided on this set up that I thought would give me more THUMP in the bass, keep the high and mids clean (stock), but wouldn't annoy others at a red light. Turns out I got what I wanted, AND, can annoy others as well!
Stock Pioneer PT546-00100 Head Unit, RCA's out the Sub-output
Crunch P500.2 Powerzone series 2-channel Amp
10" Kicker Comp C10 Subwoofer @ 4 Ohms
Placed in a sealed EFX 060SE10 box that's most likely to small in Cubics for this sub. Has .75,....need min 1.0 by Kicker. Thoughts? ? ? ?
Well, it's too late in the night for detailed comments like I wanted. the picture restrictions & sizes of JPEG's for uploading limits won the fight.
Let me hear your comments and I hope you like, 'cuz I sure do ! ! !

Thanks for the replies. Gives me the chance to add these pics.
Below is the sub which is in sealed box. Lot's of room in the hatch area. I ran my own twisted pair or 12g wire under the rear passenger threashold, behind the folding rear seat, and ending at the sub.
This is ME, figting the power wire thru main harness grommet. Small garage so I had the driver side all the way up against the driver side to allow more room for working on passenger side.
I was getting pretty MAD! Took me about an hour trying from both sides. MY ADVICE,....push thru under the dash to the engine side.
Thanks for the views and always remember.....Two wrongs don't make a right, but 3 lefts DO ! !

thats why i took the dash off, way easier and quicker than trying to contort my body in funky ways and just fight the car the whole way. but at the same time im i was running 2 runs of 0awg so i kinda had no choice. but it looks good anyways!

0 Gauge,....Yes, I would agree on dash removal. Had to be a b**ch though, huh? Don't think I've ever removed an entire dash before. Parts here and there sure, but never the whole damn dash.
...thinkin' second 10", larger duel box and run them on each channel, full range. Dunno if I'll get more thump or mids if I do. Thoughts?
