Custom Rear TV Pedestal W/Custom Rear Strur Bar (PICS)
Well most of you will remember that awhile back I had a sub enclosure built by BIGJ (nolimitzind) that consisted of the subs, CF deck board, and hidden amps...Randy (RANDODE) then added the deck and the headrest monitors while Just1n of Precision Werks painted the speaker rings of Hot Lava...Well it seemed liked it was missing something so I picked up a monitor from James and Randy (RANDODE) decided to work his magic and create something that is truly one of a kind!
It started off as a hand built custom fiberglassed TV pedestal to house a 15 inch monitor...The pieces to make the stand were precisely machine cut by Bob (RMS)...Then Randy custom fabricated a rear strut bar (purely for looks) that he added his signature (3) RANDODE skulls and painted it Satin Black...The TV pedestal was painted Hot Lava by Just1n of Precision Werks...It was finally topped off by adding blue cathodes underneath the rear board underneath the amps that light up the circle area cut out around the amp opening...This project took awhile to complete and I want to thank all those involved, especially Randy...Randy, you truly are a master of everything you set your mind on building, there is no limit to your imagination...
Now on to the pics:
Build mock up:
Building Progress:
Randy multi-tasking
In the paint booth:
Disassembly:
Add blue cathode lighting/Blue Tape Just there for the Pic:
Get TV Stand Ready To Install:
TV Stand Installed on CF Board:
Monitor Installed and First Test Fit:
Final Install/Everything Complete:
That's about it...Let me know what you think, good or bad...The coolest thing about this is the video image from the monitor projects onto the rear window and because of the rear window tint you can see it like a rear projector...It's HUGE! Thanks for looking...
