Does anyone have any good hints on replacing the control cable for the defroster/ vent selector on a 2008 scion xd? I would really appreciate any information on this.

never mind I got it fixed.. after popping the dash apart I realized that the cable had been pulled loose from the selector switch due to some incense that had fallen down in the vent. replaced onto selector switch and all is good..
