Default factory nav parts

Hey guys,
My girlfriend owns a 2008 xD with the factory navigation system. Recently, we woke up to find somebody had tried to rip the system out of the car (instead of removing the trim and 4 screws holding it in). They didn't manage to get away with anything, but they bent the hell out of the screen tracks.

My question is, does anyone make parts for these units? I called toyota and its only available as a complete unit. My only other option is to find a dead one and swap all the parts over to a new case. Please let me know if anything is available or a place that might have a used case with no internals.

I have not seen separate parts of any of the head units. I think your only options are to either find a used/dead unit or buy a new one...

Or... I'm curious why insurance was not called? If you have to buy a new one they're quite expensive, and depending on what your deductible is, it would likely be cheaper to go through insurance and get a replacement. But they may want a police report or something if it was an attempt to steal it...

Well as luck would have it, she closed on a house on friday (and switched her insurance with a new policy including the house), this happened the last night at her apartment on friday night/saturday morning. She didn't want to make a $2000 claim on the first day of a new policy. I'm really hoping to find a dead unit, I just don't know where to look. Its completely salvageable because the tracks are the only part thats broken

I just went to check eBay for a unit ... they don't have any, but there is a guy selling his SNS owner's manual for $65. SIXTY FIVE DOLLARS for a ____ing owner's manual.

Are you set on sticking with the factory unit? It is a nice unit but you can find a really nice (and cheaper) aftermarket unit.
