where can i find the ipod connector cable for my scion xD? or where can i buy one? seem to have lost it. also i dont know if its compatible with my ipod touch 2g, has anyone done such?

also if not can i control my ipod through the AUX?

 

You cannot control it through the aux. It is just like hooking up headphones... no info in the display, no control... just sound.

You can get the cable from the dealership, but I think it's about $70. TDR Sparks has it for %56.97. You have to look up under 2008 xD... it doesn't show up on their website under 2009 xD for some reason.

I have a cable that came with my '08 xD that I just bought. I'll sell you mine for $50 shipped USPS. I'm not an ipod user and I likely will -never- be one.

I too would have said never, but I'm now the proud/rabid/addicted owner of an iPhone 3GS.

And one of those damn passPORT adapter thingies so my iPhone can charge in the car.

 

I have one to sell as well. I just installed an AVIC X910BT so I no longer need that cable.

Sorry bro but never means never! I am a rabid supporter of the notion that Apple is a marketing company and not a computer / technology company.

I made my first in-car MP3 player (out of an older Pentium laptop) 6 or 7 years ago. I'll stick to the cheaper technology!
