I really missed not having an arm rest in my xD. So today I installed one.



It can extend up & forward, plus it also can swivel.



It has a nice storage area.



It even lights up.



The back end has a cup holder and an ashtray.



Here is the cup holder open.



Now I won't mind those long rides and I have more room for junk.

 

I like it!!! And the lights inside the compartment makes total sense.

I am now gonna keep my eye open for an armrest which I can modify and mount inside my Toaster.

 

What was this rest out of?

 

I purchased this from a company in China.

 

These are available online. I paid $38 (USD) for mine. .....but mine did not come with lights. They are made specifically for the first Gen xB cars.......although, apparently, they fit in xA cars as well.
.......it sits in the storage hole behind the parking brake lever.....

I've seen a couple different armrests. The one displayed in this thread as well as one that was much narrower.
