yeah im getting rims, trd things, and a custom hood before i drop 2 grand on seat covers. Ill just deal with the cloth covers for now. Plus, you can only get a good glimpse at them on the inside of the car...even then, you site on them. Not so visible anymore.

I think it's simply stupid to drop $1600 on a leather seats for the econo-box, sorry. Even a VERY NICE econo-box we all love so much.
You can built a decent sound system for this amount or get a VERY nice set of rims/tires or a nice lip kit ... And if you do all of the above and more, consider this: after you spend $10K+ on a $18K+ car ... for around $30K you could be simply driving a Lexus IS250 ... with the factory leather and everything else )))

I think Clazzio is the best quality product for the money. It's still not cheap, but somewhat reasonable... (I don't sell them )))

Just my opinion, no offence to anybody !
I would have never done this had I not won the raffle. I actually tried to trade the voucher I had for a kit or wheels and rims. I didn't mean to suggest anyone save up for leather in an xD. The covers that started this topic are just bad, if you want leather to look nice, ditch those and get a professionally installed kit. If you could spend 2g better, do that instead though

The OP is happy with his covers, and that is all that matters.

I wouldn't shell out $1,500 or 2,000 for seat covers for an xD. That is freaking stupid.

Sorry buddy, but these look absolutely awful! They are saggy and don't seem to fit at all. Are you sure you bought the right model? I'd double check because I can't imagine a vendor could stay in business if that was what they were putting out there.

Maybe a pro upholsterer could help you out by taking up some of that excess. Can't imagine it would be cheap however.

I'd be ____ed if I were you!

[quote="cigardave"]just put them on, they are sweet! i have been trying to get the interior of the car a bit lighter. its all black, and i live in south Texas. so this will hell some as well, and they look great!

still have some minor tucking here and here , ill do that once they settle a bit.

i guess ill have to take some new picts or something. everyone who actually sets in the car compliment the covers. Looking back at the photos i posted, they do make them look bad.

they are the right ones, made for the car. They are still a little loose at the bottom of the side of the seat, but its not that big of deal, to me at least.
