It basically pushes into the rear cup holder (the one between the front seats) and has clips anchoring it to the seat rails. It looks very similar to the xA/xB1 armrest.

 

how stable is it going to be? are the ones for the xA/xBs pretty sturdy?

 

It should be ok... it pushes tightly into the cupholder (the one in the back, between the front seats) and has 2 retainers holding it to the seat rails (similar to the JDM console box, but not as beefy).

It'll be functional, but not as nice as the console box, imo. I'll order one in when it's available and check it out. Should be a great solution to those looking for a relatively low cost arm rest.
