Scion XD 2009 Sirius Radio Install Help?
Hello all,
So upon reading many threads, I purchased this on amazon to get Sirius installed in my 2009 scion xd (which has the upgraded stereo option):
The radio I have looks like this: http://www.trdparts4u.com/masterimg/...00081_sci8.gif
It includes the TOY-SC1 part and the SC-C1 radio tuner.
The setup seems very straightforward, put on an antenna, plug that into one box, connect the two boxes with the supplied cables, and then connect the TOY-SC1 box with the supplied cable to the stock radio.
I tried this today, and I haven't gotten anywhere. My radio doesn't seem to recognize that there's a satellite box connected to it, though the manual says it's supported. The radio has a combined AM / SAT button, and when I press it twice, it stays on AM. When on AM, I tried pressing the tuner button in to see if satellite listed as an option there, but I did not see it.
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I assume my error is just in the step to actually get the radio to go into satellite mode. I read that I'd have to cycle the power on the car twice before it was recognized, but no luck.
Help?

Ugh. and now I'm noticing that the clock nighttime illumination is not working and the airbag light on the dash is on. God, try to install some easy stuff to save some money, and it looks like I'm going to be out a lot...
Edit: Nevermind. I'm dumb and didn't plug that wire back in when I put the faceplate in. It's fine. Yay.
