Default xD seat covers

I am looking at getting a very cheap set of seat covers. I have been doing a lot of outdoors work lately and want to keep the dirt off of my seats. I will get a good set of covers when my work is more appropriate for that kind of thing.

Has anyone purchased a good set of seat covers that were not expensive and the fit the xD fairly well?

Please let me know, this information would be very helpful!

Thanks

I guess it depends on what you consider cheap. You can get clazzios on ebay for $300 give a take a little that covers all the seats and headrest in your D ( ill send you the seller if you want). or you can use the big cheap beach towels to put on your seat. Don't use regular seat covers as the side airbag can't deploy. (clazzios are designed to split at seams when airbag deploys)

Well, I would for sure say $300 is a lot of money!!!
(I would put that to TRD springs, exhaust, etc...)
I know those covers look good, but I was looking for something more... disposable. So I ordered some cheapys from amazon. Now the question is, how can I mod them for the airbags. If you don't mind me asking, how are the clazzios designed to split. Velcro or a weak spot or something? Thank you for your reply. Once I get my covers, I will post what I got, how I like them, how I modded them (with your info in mind), and possibly pictures. I am still looking for a kick ___ job (engineering/environmental stuff in Seattle), so untill then, I have to save money! G

The clazzios have a thread thats designed to slipt at the seams if the air bag deploys. Theres a video on youtube I believe of this as a demo. And to mod your seat.covers id say cut a slit down that side. Theres really not much you could to. Ebiach spring or tien are better ride. Just an fyi

My clazzios are one of my favorite things.. they also keep my dog's hair at bay (it was terrible with the stock seats.

My clazios are pvc on pvc, black / black / black

trdsparks has the best prices i have seen, and they can have leather suede or pvc inserts and have color choices. Mine are very basic and happened to be in stock, but when you get creative then it usually has to be ordered

Thank you all for your input... I will check the vids out. I will let you know what I do with the cheap covers. Any more ideas would be great. Also, I need to keep my warranty so I am guessing that the only springs I can use are the TRDs.

just bear in mind.. i have Tein basic coilovers on mine. They can only void the warranty on your suspension (and it has to be proven), if something happened to your motor, the springs cannot void that part of the car because they have nothing to do with the motor

I went with a full coilover set because i wanted height adjustment. living in this area.. it's important

as long as i keep the warranty on my engine and transmission and the main electronic parts, im not so worried about anything else.

all i got was the car and the warranty nothing else. With 25,000 miles of free maitainence. My car hadn't even made it to the sales lot, i got it straight off the delivery truck. Didn't have to peel off all the stupid dealership stickers they love to put on cars

at the time i wasn't worried about getting a manual but in a way i want one now. The color black (black sand pearl) is apparently so rarely seen that when initially asked for one i was told it wan't made. Of course i have the dealership emergency number stickers on the inside of the car. i still have the airbag sticker on the glove box. LOL

well I saw that but it doesn't specify that it is an xD. Also, it seems that from the video the clazzio seems to bulge quite a bit before it bursts.
I can only guess that the seat airbags on the xD come out from the front side seam like the one in the video... but just not sure.
