Default VSC

I was playing around tonight on the Scion Website and it appears that the 2009 Xd has VSC as Standard Equipment. So, I built a 2008 with VSC and it was around $500 more than a 2009. Anybody know if this is true?

Yeah. According to the pricing and mods/accessories available on the Scion website, it does look like VSC is standard equipment for the 2009. There is no price or option to add it on. It's just "there".

Didn't someone say (in this forum) that Electronic Stability Control would be a mandatory feature on certain new cars released in 2010 and after? Or was that some European thing?

Anyways. If governments are going to mandate that ESC should be a mandatory safety feature in all future autos, then it's good to know that Scion is ahead of schedule. Hehe.

VSC standard on 2009?... almost seems too good to be true for the extra 100 from 08

A 2005 tC 5-Speed, 50,000 miles KBB's at 11,900
A 2006 tC 5-Speed, 50,000 miles KBB's at 11,925

Both trade-in, both excellent condition.

Hey, where did you see that? I just looked and can't find any mention of VSC anywhere for the xD. It's almost as if they don't even offer it anymore, or am I just looking in the wrong area?

Default VSC?

When I was on the website, VSC was under "standard features" and then listed under safety. Now its gone. I wonder if we found an error on the website thats now been fixed. VSC is still not listed under options on the"build" site. So, keep watching, maybe it will appear.
