Of course you can find info on all the head units they offer, but does anyone know detailed specs on the speakers in the car? Are they 6.5"? Do they have crappy paper cones, or are they a little better?

I'm getting impatient waiting for my xD...my dealer says it should be here between Oct. 5-11. I can't wait!

 

according to crutchfield 5 1/4" in the doors but 6.5" will fit

 

yes 6.5 but you will need a ring adapter kit cuz 6.5 are just big enough so it might fall out if you dont get the ring adapters!

i just made mdf rings and screwed those to door than speaker to those. !

 

6.5, same as 06 xb,,, I just took my new xd i got TODAY apart for wiring for new system... I'm actually placing in 6x9"s with custom backing adapters... magnet way too big!!

 

Anyone been able to get into the post tweeters? Do the doors come apart easily?

What kind of speakers have you guys replaced the factory ones with? Did you notice an improvement? I think the factory ones sound pretty decent.

I saw a tc that got tapped the other day and the whole front bumper flew across the street
