I have gone to 3 of my local dealers, wanting to trade my 06' xB in on a new 08' xB, trying to get best trade-in value. But......at 3rd stop, I was told by that dealership, they were getting an xD this Thursday. I said NO WAY, they're not due out till August, then I had 3 more salesmen verify it. Well, needless to say, I am going by there Thursday, to see. I may get a new xD instead of xB now, got to see it in person.

Question, have any of you pre-ordered one and what were you told for delivery date?

That seems HIGHLY unlikely (if not impossible) as Toyota has not even announced official pricing for the xD.

 

There is no way this is going to happen. None. Zero. Zilch. Nada.

Go directly to another dealer to do business. Do not pass Go, do not collect $200. That dealership sounds like a bunch of know nothing crooks, and they will have a nice explaination as to why they don't have that xD when you are there, if they don't say it's been delayed a few days.

 

I know, I'm looking forward to it. But, they gave me a better apprasial on my xB trade-in, cheaper dealer fees and they are replacing my radio tomorrow, that I have been complaining about for months, to the dealership I bought it from. Besides for 4 salesman, I like them better right now. Not to mention, they are HUGE, have like 6-8 brands in one mile on US41.

I even went to Scion.com and you guys are right, you can't even build your own yet, how the heck can you search port w/out that? I am still going by Thursday, and I promise, if it is miracuosly there, I WILL take pics. Hoping to see a Barcelona Red (is that same color as on Yaris?)

LOL I can put money that if in fact they are xD's on that lot that they are NOT production vehicles.....matter of fact I can almost bet that they aren't as they will not be in dealerships till July August but target being August

 

He's just confused as to what an xD is, and what it is on their lot. I've sort of got this impression of Jon Lovits running through my head, "Yeah, there are 5 of them, and they are all, all, turbo and all-wheel drive. Yeah Yeah, that's the ticket. and I'm going to buy them for my wife, Morgan Fairchild, whom I've seen naked, yeah that's the ticket."
