Does 2009 Scion XD have a security key light? Is it supposed to have one. I see no indicator lights when the key is inserted or removed. I understand if the car has no immobilizer system, but I tried using Techstream to add another remote fob and got an error on the immobilizer tab in the program.

Another thing, if the car has one remote fob I should be able to add another, but the tool free programming sequence is not working either.

 

NVM, I went to the "Body" section of Techstream and was able to add the remote transmitter. This car has no immobilizer then. I haven't had the new fob key cut yet to see if it will just start the car...it probably will.
