no updates yet on the car.. they are still waiting for parts to come in and the claims adjuster to come out and look at more damage found when they pulled the bumper off.

I was the one with the rear-ended Barcelona Red. I took it in first thing Monday, and I got it back yesterday afternoon.

ok.. well that sucks.. i wonder what the hell is taking so long with mine.. probably the damn insurance dragging a$$, but then again, i have a hatch, bumper and tail light, rear crash bar among others that needed to be fixed...

well i stopped at the body shop yesterday to see what the progress was.. they got all the parts and did the base coat.. they are getting the Hot Lava paint today from toyota (its an already premixed paint, so i'll have a good match). if all goes well, I will have it back tomorrow.

I also told them to not put the xD badge on the hatch cause i was going to debage that anyway so now i don't have to worry bout that.

im not gonna do much of anything to the xD, just the necessities, HID kit, scion floor mats, install my nav that i kept from the tc, have my rims from the tc, those will go on once i get the car back, there are a couple shows towards the end of the month.

This is weird. These are the exact same reasons I traded in my 06 CSM supercharged tC. I kept all that I could fron the tc and put them in the xD as well Nav, wheels, stereo and leds. Man I would have killed someone for doing that to my D. Glad you and your girl are ok.

3 weeks ago my xD got creamed, 4 car pile up, I have front and rear damage, my back bumper is about 3 times worse than yours...

didnl;t know it was a hit n run. d1ckheadz. means they were either illegals, no insurance or license, or warrants for arrest. or it coulda been some punks kids that saw it on MTV's busted and thought "we can get away too"

FINALLY!!! Got the car back today.. paint looks excellent.. body shop did an awesome job.. i wasted no time and installed the alarm/remote starter, HID 8k set, and my pioneer z2.. was fun having my car back after over 2 weeks.. will have pics up tomorrow
