Default Got a xD

I grudgingly parked my 13year old/186k miles Nissan pick up truck for a bran new silver xd. Been driving it for a week now and love it.

I’m not much of a car guy so forgive me if I have to ask stupid questions.

No problem... a car is just like a truck, except more fuel efficient, safer, and has a much smaller bed! However, an xD can still haul some stuff:

Lol... yeah, you've got some hills out there. I used to drive from MD to PA three times a month in a van carrying 6,000 pounds of cargo. The van only has 156 horsepower, but it has all kinds of torque. There were only two hills that made it downshift, and those were both in Maryland. I also had a VW Golf TDI that I towed with, and it was pushing 200 pounds of torque with the engine mods I had installed. No problems there!

Yep, good old PA roads. Northeastern PA has to be about the worst. We have a saying, "Pennsylania has 4 seasons: Almost winter, winter, still winter, and road construction."

Welcome, and why did you park it? Didn't you sell it?

PS, from W. Pa also. Lots of hills and curves here, but I still manage to tow with my 1.5 liter xB. No towing with the xD.............. so far!!

Felt like I had to keep the old truck. It’s too useful for carrying rocks, wood and the like. It’s also nice to have a second vehicle.

The scion is perfect for my commute. Saving around $20 a week in gas. I can wait to take it out in a road trip.

Eh, that's only a few months old... in xB land, we have people bump 4 year old threads. Haha.
