What color are your rims and what size are they? Gunmetal, 17'?

 

Rims= Full Royal Sports Bronze

Size = 17x8

they are the wheels that were off my tC

 

With all the stuff you had put into your tc I'm surprised you were so eager to trade it in for a xD. I would have been loathed to let that beauty go!

and i got a GREAT deal on trad in
traded it in stock and sold most of the parts off...

paying 100 dollars a month for the next 36 months.. and that is all.

 

How do you like the navigation system? As far as I know you're the first person on this site to get one with their xD.

 

Those wheels work really well with the xD. I like it.

i just need to determine how to out smart the immobilizaer which makes it unusable when the car is in motion

the wheels are ok... they looked much better on the tC
as soon as they are sold i will be looking into other options for the xD

 

I'm jealous of your monthly payment! Though mine isn't that bad ($240 for 66mos). I actually forgot that they offered a navi system in the car, but I don't need it because I use map books :D

I'm glad to see someone finally got a black xD because thats the color I was wanting to get but I was talked out of it.

Doesn't immobilizer work off of the parking brake? Install an override switch on the lower console.
How off is your speedo with the 17s?

They solved the Navigation problem a while back in the xB forum. Check it out: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...6172&start=120

The parking break only determines the DVD playback whilst driving, so you can do that hack to unlock DVDs but you need the switch hack to get around the immobilizer.

I've got the navi too, and I think at least one or two others do... it's fantastic, for me it was worth the $ to get it installed in the car since I know I'll be using it. My only gripe is yeah, it doesn't let you play with it while the car is in motion, normally I would not care but if I want to put in a different destination I have to come to a complete stop, slightly annoying. If I have a passenger with me they should be able to do it no problem, so I'd be curious to take a look at the mod on the xB forum to see if I can disable it. It affects use of the ipod as well (car must be stopped to select ipod options via the head unit).

 

I have Navi ordered in my xD which supposedly is arriving at the end of November (apparently Gulf States Toyota has a hard time getting Manual / VSC cars) anyway I will for sure do the parking brake hack, and I will probably do the switch hack as well.

 

i have a black one too. i love those wheels. i don't know much about cars...so, what are they & where can i get them?

 

my wheels are Rota Torques

they aren't available in the color that mine are, in an offset that will fit the xD... it was a custom painjob for my wheels... (got them for my tC and got lucky that they fit the D)
