Hole in the engine block? or oil pan
So i messed up bad. I was trying to change my oil, but the filter was on unbelievably tight. I struggled for a while to get it off and finally did. Changed the filter, replaced the plug, lowered the car off the jacks and began to fill it up with new oil. Next thing i know i have 5 quarts of oil on the pavement. I look under the car, and i have a half inch hole punched in the circled part of the picture. (That picture was taken by someone else on this site, but thats the same spot. )
So... Am i screwed? did i just totally ruin my car? im have a tow truck pick it up tommorow, and im terrified at what they are gonna say...

How did this turn out?
I'm not sure whether the oil sump can be removed from the engine block on these. If so, that'd be what you need to replace. Unfortunately, it's not the oil pan -- the oil pan is the black thing in the lower left hand corner of the picture, below the circle.
As a temporary solution, you could probably get by with cleaning off all the oil and using JB Weld to patch the hole. Note this is a pretty redneck fix and should not be permanent, but it will not cause additional damage as long as you let the JB cure for a few hours before putting oil back in.
