How many miles did your OEM brake pads last?
I know the OEM brakes have come up before, just wanted to pull info into a single thread.
- How many miles did you have when you replaced the OEM front brake pads?
- How much life was left in the pads when you replaced them?
I'm right at 44k miles, noticed the brake sound changed (no grinding or anything, it was just a little different), and checked it out. I'm not down to the calipers yet, but it's real close and the rotors are just starting to groove a little. Like other people here have reported, there was never any noise from the wear indicator.

I went 75k miles before i had to change mine.
There was about 2 mm left on the pads. I replaced them along with the rotors.
Sorry just saw this post for an xd. I own a tc, regardless some people may have different wear patters on their breakpads, due to braking habits.

I just did brakes and rotors, and not the cheap pads, but the premium for right around $100.
