Default A little upset v. brake pad replacement

Can't believe I'm getting quoted around $205-270. The DEALERSHIP is less expensive than the mom & pops around here [Encinitas]

it's ridiculous. The place that was $270 that quote was for JUST pad replacement. I'm going to take it to the dealership, they charge $250 for pad replacement, rotor resurfacing, etc. such a better deal than these other sharks.

Does anyone know where I can get it cheaper in the San Diego/North County San Diego area?

DIY FTW. Toyota brake pads (especially Scions) are some of the easiest to replace that I've ever seen. No joke: 1 bolt per wheel.

yeah do it yourself real easy get yourself a c clamp.... Also to resurface a rotor you can bring it to ORileys (its like an autozone) pepboys they may do it too..should nt be hard at all...

Save tons of money doing it yourself... Plus you can get lifetime replacement pads when you bring your old ones back with recepit... ask for it at Autozone or orileys
