been a LONG while since I posted on here, and have been planning to get rid of the xD's but theres so many problems with the actual ..disposal (for lack of a better word) that it may not end up happening..so I may have to just stick with the little bugger for a bit longer :\..but what can you do right?

anyway. something to point out. I've been noticing over the past couple days that theres a slight shuddering going on while I'm driving. Only happens from a stop, when I'm at about 1500 revs. it's really strong, like it's about to stall out but there's nothing that I'm doing that would cause the car to stall...checked to see if there were any vacuum leaks in or around the intake but it's fine. any other ideas? don't really see how it could be an electrical issue because everthing else is working just fine..

anyway. hopefully everyone, new to the site and old, is doing well and enjoying their cars. you may be seeing more posts from me again soon

All are wiped lol .. well ii was too losing faith in this car for 1 being lack of aftermarket parts nd to wanted to get back to volvo tuning ( it does exist) lol .. but idk.. over time ii started appreciating this lil box. When ii push it... it does response.. even on turns it still wants to go lol.. ii already have 2 ideas to go with this car. Make it auto x worrior. Or go all ***** out nd maybe swap motor. But ima be patient. That's another thing. Ii want things like power fast but just gotta be patient nd ii will get my car exacly how ii dreamed it to be lol

 

Since it only does it at 1.5k I would guess check the TPS or the throttle body to see if it is stuck or sticking. When I had a svt contour at around 4k it would shutter real bad from lack of fuel. They had a problem with fuel pumps burning out, but you could check your fuel filter. (I don't know how many miles you have) Since it is low in the rpm range I don't think it would be the fuel system, but hey just shooting some ideas across you.

 

good idea nateson, I 'll give that a try, hell, anything will help. the car only has 17 thousand miles on it...and its a 2008 but I havent seen any recalls so w/e

xDkidd get on that volvo tuning! haha it'll happen man. i'll get what i want sooner or later, as will you. I merely see my chances diminishing of getting a different car THIS year. so I'm not sure what I'm going to do either but I'll probably just end up getting coils and slamming the crap out of it and maybe finally get a set of rims..we'll see.

 

as much as ii want to. im actually patient about it. like ii said ii have some ideas that makes me want to keep it. hopefully once ii finish school ii can get a new volvo c30 t5 or something lol. slam it and flush it

 

sounds gewds man. im not really a volvo guy but i like the c30's.

in other newz the xD is going in to wondries on saturday. hopefully this crap is covered under warranty but who knows. we'll see..

oh you know, same old same old, had to sell the old 280z to fix some financial issues, cant wait til i get back in the financial situation to buy another one. other than t hat same old, keeping the car as low as it can go, though its too high right now, looking into lip kits.

 

unfortunate to hear :\ but hey do what you gotta do, things will turn around again. as for staying low I envy you. if i do end up keeping the xD (and i'm pretty sure it's like 90% guaranteed that i am...) then I'm finding coils asap..sick of my ride height as it is right now haha
