Default minor gripe about the xD

Ok first off before my minor rant I just want to say that I love this little car had it about a month and a half and couldn't be happier with our dicision to go with the xD. But now for the but...... last night I tried to put my golf clubs in the back with the seats up and guess what my bag wouldn't fit. I don't have a tour bag it's just a standard walking bag (ping whoofer) but it wouldn't fit with out me taking my driver and 3-wood out. Oh well I guess this car will not see much golf courses. Thanks just need to get that our of my system.

I would agree about overall storage space. I have added a powered sub to the back which take up even more of the little space there is. But overall I love my XD especially when I see my gas mileage.

Uh.. yea, hello the seats can be moved forward and then collapsed so it is flat in the back. If you read the manual it will tell you many other special tricks as well.

Yes I would do that if I was just going to the course and back home, but sometimes I have to go somewhere before the course like today and don't want my clubs just in plain site. Just me but I've always had the notion of why give a thief an added insentive to break in (out of site out of mind). But yes I could remove the cargo cover and put the seats down (I have as the wife and I took a week long road trip to socal) and was amazed at the amount of cargo room with the seats down (the wife can really pack on trips ). But I just figured one set of clubs can fit in the back with out putting the seats down...guess not.

I tote my clubs in the back of my xD all the time. You're right, it's not wide enough to accomodate a bag with a driver, but I just take the driver out and set it on top of the bag. Voila.

Maybe since we bought into a smaller car we have to buy a 'junior' set of clubs that fit. I take my clubs in mine all the time. If you got a thief problem, buy a big black or dark colored beach towel for a throw over.

If I saw a car with a freaking GARBAGE BAG labelled "TAMPONS" in the back seat, I would break in, just to see if it really was...and I'm not even a thief.

Never really heard of someone breaking into a car just to steal some golf clubs. I know some are expensive just saying. Maybe if you lived near a retirement village of ex thieves.

No.... Cover them with a canvas bag and write shovels and rakes on it. Why would a theif steal anything that has to do with work?

you can fit a st of clubs in wuth the driver ans all.
i have a ping hoofer and a standered length driver (its a tileist d2 so i dont have the crapie headcover on it)

you just push th seats up, put the clubs in diaginally, and you can swing them over the little humps in the trunk and then move the seats back...its kinda tight but if you need all the seats it does the trick.
