My Barcelona Red was rear-ended today.
Thanks, everybody. I'm glad no one was hurt, too.
Ragingbull, I've had mine for less than 6 months, and I was freaking out. I can't imagine driving it off the lot and getting hit THAT NIGHT. Ugh. So sorry. But again, I'm glad no one was hurt.

My 2009 Magnetic Grey is almost 1 month old, and I pray that I don't get into an accident any time soon.
Anyways, I sympathize with you... and hope your repairs are speedy and painless as possible. I hope they repair/replace the parts to "as good as new" condition.
One thing I noticed by having my new 2009 Scion, I am really really paranoid and careful when I park this car. I make sure NEVER to park the car too close besides another car, because eventually some dipstick will carelessly SLAM their car door onto mine. I also make sure that I do not parallel park too close to another car, since that kind of thing will eventually mean some dipstick WILL accidentally BUMP either the front bumper or rear bumper of my car.
Conclusion: everyone, take care to give extra 'space' when you park your car. Give some extra space and elbow room for accidents or reckless parking from other drivers. This is one good habit to do, so that you'll save your car from potential bumps, dents, dings and scratches in the future!

i stopped at the body shop yesterday to see how everything is going.. the hatch and bumper was on back order and hopefully they will receive it monday... they said just because its such a new car, that replacement parts are readily available... I miss my xD right now, i didn't even have it a whole week and had to drop it off at the body shop for repairs
i got a Camry for a rental with the 4 cyl in it.. for the first week all highway miles close to 400 miles on one tank.. not bad at all.. but really i want my xd back.. I have the HID kit sitting at work, my nav unit, floor mats, and soon the NST short shifter all needed to install...
