a cooling plate would be a great addition imo.

just looking at all the parts available for the hondas makes me wanna get one :? lol

 

1. A CF spoiler that looks different that the OEM and the upgrade spoiler, something like the 08-10 xB spoiler
2. Yellow fogs
3. CF gauge cluster bezel
4. floor plates
5. CF mud guard sets
6. CF side view mirror block off plates
7. the 3 piece rear strut tower bar set
8. side markers
9. CF Gauge pod holder that sits behind waterfall on top of the dash
10. continue this list for a while...

Basically take a look at the coolest PasswordJDM EK civic hatch they have built... we want all of that, except for an xD :D

you forgot about a cooling plate. would look nice when you pop the hood lol

LOL, there is no point to one aside from looks... cooling plates are designed to fill in the hole that's between the front bumper and the radiator support, the front bumper on the xD is attached to the radiator support, so the bumper itself acts as if it was a cooling plate... your looking for a BAMF engine cover, and that I would go for. (you have the right concept, but wrong name)

 

to be honest i would totally trade the xD for an EK. I absolutely love those cars, BUT. I have the xD already so I'm lookin to keep it for at least a little bit

i'ld be down for a lot of those parts. especially the splash guards, yellow fog lights, and even the spoiler if it looks good.

 

yeah I can imagine the spoiler...I think it'd look great. Would everyone be interested in CF or painted?

 

some gt style side mirrors would be awesome also, the stock ones hinder my window vision for auto-x

 

oh and a foot rest for us stick shift guys ;P

technically the del sol is a CRX....so makes sense you would like em both ;)

Actually the Del Sol and the CRX are technically Civics...

But I cant wait for some PWJDM items... we will show up the civics with their own parts!!! :D

C-Pillar bar, Rear Strut Bar, and Triangulated C pillar bar...

 

I need a giant carbon-fiber phallus that I can play with at shows... Talk about how much horsepower it gives and how much longer it lasts because of that... lol

Seriously though... The tie bars and such are all great ideas, but I'd like to see some other things also, but I think a few have been mentioned. GOOD carbon body parts would be awesome, albeit expensive. The radio/HVAC waterfall, the gauge bezel, and the window swtiches. Those would all look great in carbon.

And about the A-pillars that I mentioned earlier. A solid A-pillar would be great, AND one with gauge pods built in would be great too for those of us working on boosting. And I don't think that it would matter too much about the airbags keeping someone from making them. You would just have to make a plastic/carbon clip on the back at the top like is on the stock one. Thats what keeps the A-pillar from flying off when the airbag goes off.

Another thing I would like to see is the side-view mirrors like were mentioned before, but I would want them lighted with white LEDs. Would they be motorized like the factory ones are? Also, just a replacement mirror cover would be great, or a DIRECT LED swap for the mirror-signals, that way people dont have to bust them open to do an LED swap themselves.

Also like was mentioned before was lighting. Projector headlights would be amazing, so would fogs. But the fogs to me would only be worth it if they fit the place in the bumper exactly.

Too bad PWJDM doesn't do crome, cause I can think of a lot of pieces that I want done in that aspect.

well I wasn't trying to be SUPER TECHNICAL. Just going along with the CRX name; but you caught me, they are indeed civics

Deathmachine, great ideas, I can definitely tell you that the CF pieces are, indeed, high quality, so rest assured on that! I think the A-Pillar swap is easily doable as well, so we'll come to that obstacle once we reach it.

Weleslley, you read my mind with the C-pillar bars, I think it would be a great piece for the xD, seeing as how any stock xD has no rear sway, and the added strength to the chassis would be greatly appreciated by any auto-x'ers. I'm sure people will say "well one bar won't do much" (much like a strut tower bar) but in all honesty, with all the right investments, should be great. Three pointer is another idea, but only for the hardcore tracker who plans on ripping out their spare tire + spare tire well filler. Let's get some more opinions on that;

Single bar C-Pillar bar? Or 3-point (triangulated) C-Pillar Bar? I assume they can be their own piece *like weleslley's picture* so the option of all three, two, or one is always there, but the fact that they would have to develop all three (different lengths) is the biggest factor. Let's generate some interest on this topic as well

@xDkidd; I like the idea, but where would you like the mouth to exit? I could see it fitting perfectly with the upper grill, but the radiator/supports seem awfully close; sandwiching it in there might be a pain? Lower grill is a possibility, again..radiator; but perhaps the lower we go the more options we have. It's definitely something to think about; anyone else like the idea of the Air Scoops?
