Well, I picked up my Xd today, and on my way home, so A**hole Rearended me and took off, I am so beyond ____ right now... my number was 1915/2000 Manuel Trans

 

Oh Man that sucks in so many ways! I am so sorry for you and that guy will get his. Do you get a new replacement or are you forced into a repair situation?

 

repair situation.. I had just picked up the car at 3pm central time and the accident happend at 7:30

 

I already got the claim rolling. 500 deductbile.. so a 1/4 of the sales of the parts that i sold off the tc will pay for the repair of the xd.. I didn't even get a chance to get to do anything to it. I was going to put in my nav when i got home, do the tint tomrrow when i got done with work, and put the rims on for the car show this weekend. this is so aggravating.

 

^^^Man that sucks big time...Atleast it's fixable and you are alright...Post pics when you get er' fixed back up...

 

by the looks of the damage, the lower lip is not damaged at all, so they probably just need to replace the bumper with a new one, paint it and put the lip back on.. the hatch most likely will be replaced.. hard to tell in the pic, but it looks to be kinked, its dent right near the bottom seam, i had to slam the hatch closed for the latch to catch and turn the trunk light off.. I should hear from the adjuster tomorrow and get the ball rolling, i am definetly taking it to the dealer just so i know the paint will match, i don't want to take it to any Joe Scho place and have the paint not match.

I was so excited bout getting the RS xD, now all my plans are put on hold for right now, i just want this fixed. Hopefully it'll go smoothly and not take forever.
