Default Rust spot

so it seems I took a hit from a rock on the roof. it seems it started to rust....it's under the paint too. Now what do I do?

take it to a respectable local body shop and find out how much they want to sand the spot down, prime,paint and clearcoat the roof. might be a couple hundred bucks. might not. go find out. ignore the trolls.

Yeah, you don't want to wait on that because they'll have to sand down the rust spot to stop the oxidation. Then they'll have to blend the paint with the rest of your car. The shop that's going to fix my car is going to paint the A pillar back to the tail lights because it's one continuous piece, and if they stopped at the A pillar you could tell where they blended it.

What color is your car? As a temp fix you can sand it down and spray a zinc coating yourself if you cannot get to a body shop quick enough.

it's grey, or gray....it's not easy to color match

Yeah definitely get it sanded out and repainted ASAP if you can, the longer it takes for you to get it fixed the more you'll end up paying later.
