hey all, on my lunchbreak I was headed over to the cafeteria and they had a new xD on display so I went up and checked it out. Lots of headroom, less than in the new xB, but still nice and roomy inside. I liked the layout of the car a lot. Unique interior design not really seen in any of the other models. Overall I thought it looked like a nice new addition to the lineup.

Also, I saw the Lexus IS-F today as well. It left me speechless I almost cried, that's how gorgeous it is in person.

 

yea i saw the IS-F at the new york auto show. it was a amazing.

 

saw a truck deliver a few today at a local dealership. anyone else thing the one reverse light style is stupid? they are still growing on me though. i just don't like the grill and the reverse light.

 

i cried over a bmw 335i convertible, red exterior, saddle interior. twin turbo, awd is just amazing.

 

i didnt think 335s came in awd.

 

i like the 328xi hard top convertible

What about elbow room on the xD? Did it feel cramped? And the gear shifter position. How was the location?

 

The xD isn't out yet to be on trailers......where was it on display at? Was it the 5 Axis one saw it at HIN and it is sick!! Glad to see those kits will be available now. Also for elbow room, when we test drove it I thought there was plenty of elbow room in the car, not as much as the new xB but I don't think any less then the first gerneration xB... I really liked the interior except for the roof mounted seatbelt mount. I hope that is changed in the actual production vehicle..

 

The gear shifter was positioned similar to the xB, located somewhat tall. I'm not sure on elbow room, I didn't close the door.

carwashindad, I'm a summer intern at Toyota headquarters so we got a special "preview" so to say. The one I saw was a base model, blue in color.

as far a legroom, was it comparable to the gen1 xb?

 

yeah thats the what I thougth at least..in the front I believe the rear is a lil less but if I owned it I wouldn't be in the back seat LOL.
