If anyone was wanting to know, yes, the iPhone 5 can work with Scion Navigation System 100. It looks ugly, but it works. You will need the special scion cord, then you will need the 30 pin adapter to allow for charging, and last you will need the 30 pin to lightning adapter. Should look like this\/\/

I a using one of the 30-pin to lightning adapaters in my '08 xd for audio, but where can I get that middle piece that allows charging? Having to swap cables to the charger is a pain.

You can buy them from Amazon. CableJive makes a good one. Scosche also makes one. Just search iphone charging adapter.

 

The one I have there is scosche. It works fairly well. Some times it acts like it doesn't see the iphone, but you just unplug then plug back. I think this is the one I have though I looked and couldn't find a model number.

A little more advice, I wish I had bought the 30 pin to lightning adapter with the cord. It would be easier to place in the console.

 

The scosche was glitchy for me. The cablejive works great.
