Default Trade in value.

I am going to the dealership some time this weekend to place an order for my Xd. I have a piece of crap car right now. I was wondering if anyone had any less than desirable vehicles that they traded in and how much scion was able to give them. My car is a 1994 chrysler le baron convertable with a dented fender, torn upolstery, radio doesn't work well, roof leaks, etc. (but it runs and has never broken down). Will scion work with me on this or would it be better just to junk the thing.

its not worth much...but its worth a shot. the dealership will probably just take it to an auction, so there is a chance they might not even want it. the other alternative is to donate it to charity

Take it to Pick A Part. Maybe they might give you a $100.

you are better off selling it yourself or donating it or taking to be scraped.

the dealership isn't going to want such a beat up car that they can't fix up for a reasonable price and sell for a decent amount.

Donation might be the best way out here. If you can get $1K "value" for the donation, it's still easier than trying to sell it for $300 and will end up being the same money in the long run.

A dealership does not want any car with over 100k miles. Yours sounds like it maybe in this camp.
