Does anyone have a trunk-mounted bike rack on the xD? If so, what brands/models fit? I'm having a hard time determining which one to get and I was wondering if anyone had any success already. Thanks!

 

Any of the ones designed to go on a hatchback should work. Yakima and Thule make nice/expensive ones. Bell makes a super-cheap one... they sell it at Target for about $40. A nicer one will cost $100-$200.

I picked up a used Thule 963 -- Thule does not recommend it for an xD -- they recommend the 962. The only difference between the two is that the 963 can hold 3 bikes while the 962 holds one. I do not plan on having more than 2 bikes anyway, so that shouldn't be a problem. Fits great, holds the bike fine (front tire does hang below the rear bumper though) and I can still open the hatch. Score!
