Waving Hello
Just wanted to introduce myself, as I've been lurking for a week and finally decided to register.
My name's, Ken, and I'm a proud and very happy owner of a two week old 2009 RS2 xD. This is my first Toyota after years of being a Honda Civic guy, but I got here, so please don't hold it against me. ;)
Personal stuff? I'm 40, presently in Mesa, AZ (southeast of Phoenix) and share a house with one roommate and 6 cats. I'm a computer nerd by trade and hobbyist musician when time allows.
I've enjoyed looking at some of the xD mods here and look forward to slowly, as time and money allow, doing some of them myself.
Looking forward to conversing with the other xD folks here!

RS2 is 2009, the RS1 was 2008.
Welcome to SL, I think we're alot more welcoming and open minded than people on honda forums, so you don't have to worry about catching hate for the other cars you've had/have

It's not a FAST car, but it's a quick car that's really fun to drive, even more so after I'm done with it. The RS2 package is worth it if you can find one - i would never have installed the nav unit if it weren't bundled, but I really like it being there, same with the LED floor floods and cupholders and the little backlit doorsill decorations.
If this helps... My last ride like this was an '03 Civic SI. This car is much more fun to drive and roughly the same HP stock out of a smaller engine. Average mileage for the first 600 miles is 33 MPG - nothing to complain about there, and that's with the AC on all the time.
