Hi guys, I'm trying to sell my RS1.0 because I'm moving, and I was wondering what you would say it is worth about, or what it would sell for. I'm asking $17,700 is that reasonable? It only has 7,000 miles.
What would you sell it for?

I would look at the Blue Book Price of the 08 XD first. Unfortunately MODS don't add a lot to the selling price of a vehicle unless you are selling it to someone that is looking for a car that has modifications done to it already. Good luck on the sell. Great looking car!

Im usually on the TC forum but I come to the XD forum everynow and then. You pad $350 for tint and $646 for an exhaust? Bro you coudve gotten tinting done for around $150, and a nice exhaust from the classifieds for less than $200 or even at a reputable exhaust shop for half what you paid. Mods actually take the value of a car down. For our cars and most cars anyway. No way are you pushing $20k to sell it, even a private sale. Id say around $12-$14 grand based on the MSRP, thats what dealearships might offer, but for a private sale I think $18 grand is asking too much, even for an RS1.

KBB has you at about $14,700 if you punch in 15k miles. Like B1GP1MP1N said, you won't get much out of your mods... it just doesn't tend to work that way. You might get lucky and find someone who really falls in love with the car, though. Good luck (and I really mean it)!

ur asking abit to much. there not gonna take into consideration how much u paid for this and that watever watever. 18k is wat a new rs1.0 would be worth almost.



honestly check KBB but chances are ull probably get anywhere between 12-15k for it and if that.

I should mention it only has 7000 miles on it, it is literally like new, according to kbb when i did it it said $16,830 and thats not including the fact its a limited edition. It seems like when I look at say an old xb rs they are almost what they cost brand new! even with 50,000 miles.

You can listen to whatever KBB says, you arent getting $18grand for it. Its an auto as well, that takes out the fun factor. Not to mention the cheesy $350 decals takes about $5000 off the selling price.

auto actually gets more money then a stick shift but sum1 wanting a RS xd will definatly want a stick. KBB says my car is worth 8k but im lucky to get 6 for it

but its not its used. your best bet is to try and get what you owe for it if its not paid off. and sell the wheels seperatly.

I put it on Craigslist, and there is one other RS xD that is at a dealership and they are asking $100 more then me, and it is completely stock. SO I thought that if I undercut them plus mine has a lot of extras that that would be a reasonable price. maybe not.

Its in Phoenix about 5 hours away. If you offered me 16,999 I may drive it to cali for you. Its already driven back and forth to cali twice. :D

Nope. lol. No Its just that I'm moving to a area that gets lots of snow like three feet at a time, and my xD doesn't even have vsc. But if all else fails I may bring it to alaska and see how it does, if it doesn't work out I'll sell it in anchorage or something, used cars tend to sell for a lot more in alaska anyway, plus the economy isn't as bad up there.

Yes I know I had a xB before when I lived in alaska and with studded tires it was good, I loved the VSC and Traction control but my xD is lacking both.
