Here in the Carolinas the legal limits are 27%. You can have darker in the rear 3 windows only on SUV's. The 27 seems just fine.

 

dang i guess i like my windows a bit darker than the rest....

I have my front windshield (top 6.5") as 2 1/2%
MY main rear side windows(the part that rolls down) and back window at 10%
the rear side windows (that dont roll) at 2 1/2% as well.

 

For me it wasn't what I wanted, it was what I didn't want. Tickets,being pulled over by the cops, and having to scrape off tint that I had already paid for. I just like to be out of the radar -so to speak. But we all live like we live.....
