I'm 6'3 and I had to tilt my head to the side as much as possible, and even at that point, I didn't have enough headroom. In the xD that is.

 

my biggest complaint about the XD is the insane pulsating noise you hear when traveling at highway speeds and put the rear windows down ( one or both ). hopefully I'm not the only one whose experienced this. if anyone knows how to fix it I'm all ears..... er....... eyes........

 

A lot of hatchbacks make that sound. It isn't just you.

see I'm a windows down kind of guy.. and that's just not gonna work for me. I've found that there is a balance to it where if you keep the rear windows up to a certain point it doesn't do it but it's still annoying.

Try cracking the front(s) just a little bit to see if this will balance the pressure out.

 

I am also a NO AC windows down in the summer guy.... unless the wife is riding.....
but anyways unless all waindows are all the way down it sucks!!! I usually will just crack them all half way and turn the radio up and I dont notice it.

 

My xA does that until I roll the fronts down slightly or all the way. The rumbling with just the backs down is nearly deafening to me but I have complicated hearing problems.

 

wow, funny i saw your post-that happened to me for the first time today! i have really sensitive hearing and sinuses, so the pressure made me feel like my head was gonna explode! not too pleasant.

 

My xD does that too. my xB1 does not. I also have teh whistle off the drivers mirror too. a bit annoying.

been thinkin about the whistle on the mirror. I bead of anything in that groove should stop it. I'd say viynl, but will come off in time.
