Default yellow rim on the spare????

NOT ANYMORE!!!!

that ugly ___ color is gone. i painted it black. bought a $3 can of flat black durabond spray paint from advanced auto. took half the can to paint. (couple of coats too). i don't care if it looks good or not, as long as that ugly ___ yellow is gone!!!!

here's the pic now.... looking good.

Ya I did the same thing but used a better looking paint I had left over. It looks really good in comparison since I used the textured rustoleum spray.True it is kinda pointless but we all know it makes us feel better knowing we did something about it.

Wow... you guys seem really worried about the looks of this thing. Considering it should be on your car for as short of a period as possible, the color should be the encouragement you need to get your regular wheel back on in the off chance you get a flat.

yellow rim is JDM yo! all cars in japan have yellow spares....for a reason i'm sure. I didn't notice my car had it til I took it out for an autoX a year after i bought it. you might be the first to actually complain about the color of the rim. but yeah, who cares?

If your pride is hurt that much by having a yellow spare, you have more issues than a yellow spare. Just sayin'...

i have to admit it looks a lot better than the yellow but you probably wont have the spare on long enough to make it worth the time you spent IMO

Well you know what they say about people who drive small cars, right? Or was that big cars...? I don't remember.

But you know what... people say something about anyone that drives anything. My point is, it is a spare tire. It is yellow. If YOU can't laugh at how lame that is as you're putting it on, ya, you should probably just paint it.
