yellow sticker on door frame
Just noticed a little yellow sticker on the frame of the drivers door:
"Caution: Load carrying capacity reduced.
Modifications to this vehicle have reduced the original load carrying aapacity by 80 lbs."
WTHeck??????? is that

No its not that... Toyota did something wierd with the 09 model vehicles... ALL of their models have that sticker to varying degrees. Each one carries a reduced load capacity, and I think that has something to do with being able to exceed the fuel mileage rating. They told us why they did it at work one day, but I don't remember...
Mine's got it, too... but I can't remember if it was on there before I had the TRD springs installed. I assumed that's when they put the sticker on, but it sounds like it might have been there the whole time.

Dealer has not responded to my e-mail yet.
They probably added some weight onto the 09s at the factory (safety features, extra reinforcements, etc) so had to compensate by reducing the capacity. My 09 was built in 08 and it still has the sticker
