Default Coilovers & Longevity

Megan, K-Sport, Tein, whatever. I've always thought about getting coilovers but the #1 concern has always been "how long will they actually last before needing to be rebuilt or replaced?". If not even a couple years with normal, NON-spirited, daily driving, then they are not worth my time or money. I'm talking about everything from finish to parts breaking off, premature wear, the headache of dealing with the manufacturer, extraordinary maintenance, etc.

currently on eibach sportlines but would like just a 'lil more drop. i'm the type to just "set it and forget it" on a setting that i like.

Any feedback helps.

get a good brand and it will last a long time...megan and ksport wont be your best bet though for longevity. some people with tein have gone like 70k miles no rebuild and still works fine. personally, i have B&G coilovers on my tc and they have 50k miles on them and still feel fine...had them for about 4 years now

i just blew out one if my ksports after 60k and a bunch of track days and hard mountain driving. so in my opinion you should be fine with normal driving
