I just bought the tanabe bar, havent installed yet. It looks pretty straight forward installing and looks like the wiper shroud has to be removed. A how-to would be useful though.

May make it a little easier to get to the bolts but not necessary too take the wiper shroud off to install it. I did not when I installed mine. Just be careful with the strut bar around the battery.

So finally got mine on. I tried with wiper shroud on and it was kinda a pain. Removing it makes things so much easier. Its also a pain to thread the bolt through the hole around the nut, close quarters up against the top of the strut. Our struts dont bolt up like other cars and makes installing a strut bar difficult, but not impossible. All in all might have only taken about 30 minutes with removing wiper shroud but that was after realizing I needed to take it off to help.

I know this is an old thread but I'm hoping someone can help me out.... installed the tanabe strut bar yesterday and yes it actually did help with front body roll. I do have the TRD rear sway bar and mine is lowered though. My problem is coming from the bolts used to install the Tanabe strut bra rubbing on my lowering springs. Is there anything to be done about this or am I just screwed and have to take it off? DH had an idea of flipping the bolt around. Install instructions had me install the nut from underneath, bolt from top so the bolt shaft is sticking through about 1/4". His other idea is to install this same way but use a bolt like a lag with a rounded head??? Help please?
